Terms of use
Last updated 17 October 2026 · draft for the beta
These terms apply to the Cantoza program and this website. By installing or using Cantoza you agree to them.
The license
Cantoza is licensed, not sold. You may install and use it on your own computers. You may not copy, resell, rent, reverse engineer or redistribute Cantoza, except where the law says you may. A Pro license unlocks the Pro features for the person who bought it and may be limited to a number of computers.
Free and Pro
The free version stays free. Features that are in the free version will not be moved to Pro. Pro features are unlocked with a license key. If a Pro license ends, what you made keeps working and nothing is deleted; Pro features simply stop being applied.
Songs and files
Cantoza includes no songs. You are responsible for having the right to use any MIDI file, recording or link you add. Do not use Cantoza to infringe anyone’s copyright.
Other programs and games
Cantoza can send key presses to other programs. Many games and services forbid automation in their own terms. You use that feature at your own risk, and you are responsible for following the rules of every game or service you use it with. Cantoza is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any game or service it can be used with.
No warranty
Cantoza is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, and it is still in beta. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using it, including actions taken by third-party services against your account.
Updates and changes
Cantoza updates itself when you accept an update. We may change these terms; the date above shows the latest version. If you do not agree with a change, stop using Cantoza.
Contact
A contact address will be published here before the launch. Until then, use the feedback dialog in the program (F1).
